mp3 download, cd players

Since I'm relatively new to the world of iPods and MP3 players, I was pleasantly surprised to find out about the MP3 download feature. Having grown up in the era of CD players, I remember all of the money I spent on CDs as a teenager. Back then, if I liked a certain song I heard on the radio, I would have to buy the entire CD to have it at my disposal. Sometimes, that favorite song of mine would end up being the only song that I liked on the entire album. I had often wished that there was a way to get only the songs I liked, and combine them in the way that I wanted. Now, I realize that an MP3 download offers me exactly that sort of freedom. It's like being able to create my own album from only the songs that I love. I've also saved a ton of money, because MP3 download can be cheaper in the long run than purchasing CD after CD, especially when I end up with many songs on the CDs that I'm not really interested in. I have to admit, I'm loving MP3 download!
